UPDATED: Bus fare pricing and schedule
Aren’t we all excited that borders are open after 2 years of waiting? Malaysia is welcoming us back with warm hugs and we are all ready to be somewhere other than Singapore.

Also, we can now enjoy quarantine-free travel with the launch of Singapore’s Vaccinated Travel Framework (VTF). With limited restrictions, we can travel freely as and when we want like before, many family and friends will be reunited once again.
The causeway will be packed once again and as exciting as it sounds, there are a few requirements needed before heading in.
1. Fully vaccinated ┣▇▇═
Need I say more? With no quarantine or testing needed from both countries, you have to be fully vaccinated.
If you are vaccinated in Singapore, use TraceTogether or HealthHub SG to show your vaccination.
2. BRING YOUR PASSPORT
As simple as this sound, it’s been a really long time since we carried our passport around, so it’s time to get used to it. Also, please ensure your passports are up-to-date and not expired (at least 6 months validity), I mean we do not want you to waste a trip to the custom and realising you’re not allowed to enter, bad way to start ain’t it?
3. Download the MySejahtera app
Do download the MySejahtera app on your phone before heading in. It is Malaysia’s contact tracing app, a must do!

4. Purchase the EZ Link x Touch ‘no Go Card
You would require this to pay for the checkpoint and highway tolls in Malaysia. Can be purchased in 7-11 and we would recommend getting EZ Link x Touch ‘n Go Motoring card as it can hold both SGD & MYR.
5. Apply for a VEP
To all drivers, do apply a Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) on the Malaysian JPJ Website. Ensure that PDF of your log card is downloaded from LTA for submission.
6. Travel Insurance
Currently, those short-term visitors who are fully vaccinated DO NOT require to have Travel Insurance. Only needed for those who are Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated travellers, with a minimum coverage of US$20,000. You can get the Chubb Travel Insurance on Klook that comes with a COVID-19 add on coverage of up to S$150,000 for overseas hospitalisation and medical costs.
With that, we are safe to say you are ready for the trip you had been waiting for a long time. Now that restrictions are eased, we can live with Covid-19 like as if it was never there. Now pack your bags, and PASSPORT and get going. Good food waiting for you! Oh, don’t forget the main point you're there for; petrol wink wink
